This was a learning exercise to familiarize myself with stepper motors and prepare myself for building the Ice Carving Robot for the Art Shanty Projects.

I built this myself from scratch. I learned how to control the stepper motors with the PC from my friend Bruce. I helped him teach a group of kids how to do this stuff and I think I learned more than the students did. Bruce has all the info you need to make your own on his From Bits to Bytes to Bots web site.
